1) What were you doing 10 years ago?

I was applying to law schools and working as a waitress at a Mexican restaurant in Atlanta called Rio Bravo. I still can’t stand the sight of an enchilada to this day!

2) What are 5 things on your to-do list today?

i) try to survive extreme heat without A/C

ii) swiffer the dining room

iii) like Danz, do research for my next blog post (maybe on candy-stripe couture?)

iv) yoga

v) prepare raita for shrimp curry

3) Snacks you enjoy

slow-churned caramel ice cream, dark chocolate with raspberry filling, yellow cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, smoked gouda, brie, Granny Smith apples with peanut butter, Shiraz (is wine a snack??)

4) Places you have lived

West Hartford, Stamford, and Farmington, CT; New York City; Salamanca, Spain; and Atlanta, GA.


5) Things you would do if you were a billionaire

i) open my own restaurant/store, a la Boogie’s Diner, with dining on one level and shopping on another (go couture crazy while enjoying a cocktail and waiting for your table!).

ii) buy a top of the line camera & some Goyard luggage and visit Canyon Ranch in AZ for a bit of pampering, Dubai, Milan, Prague, Bali (and lots of other fab destinations I have yet to see)

iii) purchase an apartment in NYC and a condo in Aspen.

iv) take my whole family on vacation in Nova Scotia at a lovely country retreat called Milford House (photo of lake and lodge at left)
