Film, fashion and philanthropy were in the limelight in Melbourne on 10th October at a three-pronged event which celebrated Indian fashion, launched the Indian Film Festival and raised money for World Vision's Child Rescue Program. Actor Totti Goldsmith hosted the event where local actors including Susie Porter and Sibylla Budd modelled the latest styles from Indian designers Sabyasachi and Surily. Legendary Indian filmmaker Yash Chopra received an award in honour of his extensive contribution to cinema. Punters paid $250 each for the chance to be a part of the glitz and glamour.
