Netflix Down - Did We Break It?

Okay it's Friday 19th 2010. We got popcorn....got our soda...but wait...we have no movie. Did you go to Netflix tonight to rent a movie only to find out that it is down? Yes, us too. Those who try to access Netflix simply see the message: "Http/1.1 Service Unavailable." What the heck, it's a Netflix outage

According to The Huffington Post (yes we read sometimes) the first reports of the outage started with Tech guru and blogger Robert Scoble who sent out a few tweets about it a few hours ago. Now in our defense we went to rent a flick and then pushed the shift key down while clicking on the back button in the browser. We don't think this has anything to do with Netflix being down on a Friday night in ALL of the Western hemisphere! Okay well we are going to see what's on cable now. We promise....we did not break Netflix okay? Just for your information blockbuster is down, gamefly is down, xbox is down, gamespot is down as well as the enter key on ALL laptops and desktops. Oh we didn't do that either.
