T.I. and his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle were pulled over by Los Angeles police last night for a traffic violation. The cops smelled marijuana, which led to a search of T.I.'s Maybach. The police found a couple of styrofoam cups filled with a syrup mix in the luxury vehicle.
"Codeine is the main ingredient in Sizzurp, which is a growing problem in the South." Says TMZ. Growing problem? Syrup has been around for years. It is just now getting recognition. Read Mike Jones lyrics, "I Got Da Drank"
Police pulled the two over on Sunset Blvd around 10:18 PM. The report claims there was also some X on board....Damnation. Both were booked on felony possession of a controlled substance.
They were released on $10,000 bail
