For the cool weather

Pictured above is Demi Lovato out and about on a normal day in LA. She is wearing a casual outfit finished off with some flip flops, a handbag and some sunglasses fit for the California sun.

I'm focusing in particular on the cardigan. It's from Urban Outfitters and is sheer stitched. I like the dark colour of it, as you can wear it on any outfit. This is a great item to have on cool summer days, especially if you live in a place where the weather is unpredictable, like here in the UK.

This outfit is definitely for the denim lovers. Not many people like to double up the denim, but Demi wears it excellently, and in my opinion, anyone can pull this look off. She's wearing a DKNY classic denim jacket, a very bold and authoritative piece and a pair of Michael Kors denim shorts. This combination would look great with any kind of summer top or shirt that suits your style, but Demi (for the purpose of the photoshoot, no doubt) wore a plaid corset by Guess - not everybody's thing, but cute nonetheless!

Summer look (Demi Lovato inspired)

Colourful for the holidays

Still looking for that perfect summer outfit? Spotted out and about was Demi Lovato (pictured above) sporting a great everyday look. What's cool about it is that it's subtle, yet still fun and fresh.

She wore a blue and purple themed camisole top from Urban Outfitters, which I think is a nice alternative to the typical greens, yellows and other bright colours that most people wear during the season. She wore a light-coloured jeans jacket by Vince Denim on top and for accessories, Demi went for some aviator sunglasses. I would personally choose a pair of white shorts, or some white corduroy trousers (depending on the weather) to finish off the outfit.

Demi's cashmere beauty

While browsing through the cover shoot of the July 2010 edition of Teen Vogue (featuring former couple Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas) I was immediately struck by the picture above, in particular by the sweater Demi wore.

She is wearing a cashmere & wool sweater by Chloé which consists of striking argyle patterns, and the colours are simply gorgeous. There are many ways this sweater can be worn. For example, a more vintage look like Demi in the photoshoot, or give it a modern twist with some jeans and sunglasses. Either way the sweater is a stand-out item.

Although I'm kind of disappointed that Demi didn't try something more fun and original at the Kids' Choice Awards, she does look beautiful and she certainly stuck to her inner rocker roots. Demi is wearing a Black Faith dress (of course) and Rene Caovilla shoes.

I'd never heard of Rene Caovilla so I browsed some of the collection (I actually came across it earlier whilst writing another post which will be coming up soon) - it's a high-end Italian brand. The shoes are original and definitely styles you won't come across often. I can see different shoes going with completely different types of outfits and fashion styles. Some of my favourites had more of a girly vibe.
